The Family Support Initiative (FSI) is a community development project providing education, consultation and community development services to foster networking and peer support amongst family members of those with a serious mental illness.
The South Grey Mental Health Team is one of five teams operated by Mental Health Grey Bruce. Through this partnership adult mental health services are provided in geographical regions throughout Grey and Bruce counties.
The Central Grey Bruce Mental Health Team is one of five teams operated by Mental Health Grey Bruce. Through this partnership adult mental health services are provided in geographical regions throughout Grey and Bruce counties.
Choices is a counseling service for youth who are: Wondering about their use of alcohol or other drugs, Worried about someone else’s problems of alcohol or drugs
The Community Network Support Team (CNST) is a program committed to the improvement of mental health and addiction knowledge for the people of Grey and Bruce counties.
The Consumer/Survivor Development Project (CSDP) provides peer support, education, consultation and community development services that foster self-help, networking and leadership development for adult consumer/survivors who have or have experienced a serious mental illness.
Community Connections: Housing and Support is a community based program serving adults with serious mental illness who live in Grey and Bruce counties. We provide a variety of services to support people through our offices in Owen Sound and the Community Mental Health Team in Hanover, Markdale, Wiarton and Southampton.

Who should attend this series? This series of four presentations will be of interest to anyone who would like to learn more about mental illness. It will be of interest to people with a mental illness , family members, friends, neighbours, nurses, social workers, physicians, clergy, students, teachers, and other health and social service workers.
If you are a family member or friend of someone with a mental illness, these meetings may be of interest to you. Would you like to hear about the experience of other who have been there? Would you like to experience support from others who really understand? Are you wondering how other families cope with mental illness? Do you want information and resources to help you understand your role as a family member?
Would you like the opportunity to share experiences and activities with other consumer/survivors? Do you seek understanding in a safe and supportive environment? Are you interested in learning how othere individuals are coping with mental illness? Do you want more information and resources to help you better understand how to live with a mental illness?
